This is a fun racquet sport which combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. The game can be enjoyed by people of all ages and athletic ability. Many senior people take up Pickleball in retirement, however it is still played and enjoyed by school children as well as top athletes.

Ladies Indoor Stoolball League

The Indoor Stoolball League has been running for 14 years and provides league competition between ladies teams from as far afield as Little Common, Burwash, Pett and Sedlescombe, from September ‘til April. Tai Chi is an internal martial art of Chinese origin and we acknowledge and sometimes demonstrate the more martial aspects but in the beginners class concentrate more on the aspects of Tai Chi which help to work on Relaxation, balance, posture, breathing and general health.

Westerleigh Judokwai is a Main Stream and Special Needs Judo Club that was founded in 1995 by two brothers, Paul and Chris Everest. Since 1995 the Club has grown to the extent of having over a hundred members ranging from 5 years old and over and has gone from strength to strength ranging from producing Area Squad members and European & World SN Champions to being awarded the BJA Club of the Year 2012 and the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2015 – the only club to date within the BJA to receive such an award!
